On may 24th, Vivatech opened its doors for the third time and undoubtedly this show was a huge success with more than 100,000 visitors (+ 47% compared to the 2017 edition), 9000 startups and many prestigious speakers from the economic, political and digital worlds.
Innovation Lab AccorHotels
For Hxperience, this event was also very positive. We were invited on the AccorHotels Innovation Lab and had the opportunity to show the outcome of the 18 month long fruitful collaboration with AccorInvest.
This collaboration aims to set up a connected maintenance solution in the group’s hotels with a dual objective :
- To reduce the hotels’ carbon footprint by controlling and decreasing energy consumption
- To improve guest comfort through real-time monitoring and quality management of the hotel environment (air quality, domestic hot water, temperature)
Many visitors could see a demo of SMATI, our Smart Building solution used by AccorInvest to collect, analyse data and to calculate business indicators, as well as the business application made available to hotel managers and operational teams for their KPI’s daily monitoring.
The Internet of Things today and tomorrow
As part of our partnership with Orange (which started about 3 years ago) we were invited to expose our startup vision on “the Internet of Things today and tomorrow”. This conference was also the opportunity for Hxperience to share our feedback on the collaboration with Orange from the participation in the Orange Fab acceleration program in 2015 until the integration of our SMATI Smart Building solution which will soon be marketed by Orange as part of its IoT offering.
